Michael leads the strategy function for Dentsu’s creative agencies across Asia Pacific, building a 21st century planning capability designed to grow brands in the modern economy. He is responsible for the strategic capability of more than 30 offices in 17 markets around the region.
Originally hailing from the UK, Michael began his career in London, and has since spent time living and working in Singapore and the US. With experience gathered on both Agency and Client-side, Michael has hands-on experience leading some of the world’s biggest and most dynamic brands. Prior to joining Dentsu, he led Global Brand Strategy and Creative at a Category level at Mondelez, and has worked at Agencies such as TBWA, JWT and Publicis.
He is a regular industry speaker and judge at effectiveness and strategy awards, and has served as guest editor for Marketing Magazine in APAC. He is passionate about the power of brands to help businesses and marketers thrive in today’s complex and fast-changing communications landscape.
