Koichi, as the Executive Planning Director of CDC, oversees communications planning for various multinational clients and drives thought leadership in communications planning across the Dentsu network. His 30-year career at Dentsu has centered on strategic planning spanning diverse industries and domains, with particular focus on clients in the IT and communication sectors, and leading edge multi-national clients. He currently leads network wide innovation in pioneering new approaches to communication to stay ahead of the changes brought about by technology.
He has been a speaker at many international conferences including Cannes, Spikes Asia, Ad Asia, ARF, South by Southwest, IAA, served on the jury at Cannes, Spikes and AMES and is a native speaker in English and Japanese. He holds a MBA from Columbia University and a BS in Architecture from the University of Tokyo.
