As an award-winning strategist with more than 17 years of branding and communication expertise, Kara joins McCann Worldgroup in January 2017. She ensures McCann Worldgroup's strategic offerings to create creative, innovative and effective solutions across all disciplines and clients.
In her most recent tenure as Global Planning Director with Leo Burnett Worldwide, two iconic and effective campaigns she led are Samsung’s Global Rio 2016 Olympic Campaign and P&G’s Always #Like A Girl Campaign which has won numerous top awards around the world. She has won eight Effie awards to date.
The undying curiosity had fueled the success in numerous projects from different categories, Kara worked on a wide spectrum of businesses, in the US and Hong Kong with both local and international clients, including telecommunications, consumer electronics, various FMCG products, financial services, retail,, property, pharmaceuticals and jewelry.
Outside of work, she is enthusiastic about supporting social charity events and enjoys outdoors. She trekked to Mount Everest Base Camp to help raise money to build an orphanage in Nepal.
