Deric is the CEO of OMD Hong Kong, part of Omnicom Media Group, one of the world’s largest media and communications networks. He oversees the talents, strategy, operations, growth and the value proposition of the agency in Hong Kong.
With the company since 2008, Deric was previously the Managing Partner, Strategy for OMD China and Omnicom Media Group Hong Kong.
Under Deric’s leadership, OMD and PHD have won 30 Agency of The Year Honours in China and Hong Kong and over 250 campaign awards including CANNES Lions, EFFIE and Festival of Media Global. He has served on jury panels including 2016 Asian Marketing Effectiveness & Strategy Awards, 2015 Spikes Asia Awards and 2014 CANNES Media Lions.
In 2012, Deric was awarded “Outstanding Marketing Professional” by Hong Kong Management Association/TVB Awards and was the winner of “Greater China Account Person of The Year” award held by Campaign Asia which also credited Deric as one of ‘40 under 40 Unsung Heroes’ who pushed the boundaries of advertising and media in 2013.
